Fred and Ralph decided they were’nt willing to wear the Phrygian cap, symbol of the revolution. Nor were they willing to swallow the pill, which, according to the official version of rewritten history and current events, was quite unavoidably necessary in order to protect them from all the germs and pollutants a good citizen and comrade was obligated to be afraid of. Their Prime MInister, the First Among Equals in the Great Society, was forced to Banish them from all decent polite civilized society.
