The is no creature evil as the vulture
A mighty Satan soaring throughout the sky.
It feeds upon the corpses of past culture
Whose artifacts are lying inert and dry.
What Ozymandias’ civilization
Will next be subject to this ruination?
Upon the passing of very many moons
Nothing will be left but obscure cryptic runes.

I agree with David and really enjoyed (?) this. It’s not a happy poem in the slightest, and it makes me think of how this country is falling, but it’s a good write.
