yeahyeahyeahadd another page.

Hello How are you?  I should hope you all genuinely enjoy a bit of a magical mystery tour with me.    I live in northeastern Pa.   I was born here & raised in Queens & on Long Island, in New York.   I’m single so I have no kids.   I play the guitar, I majored in literature in college and I’m a compulsive bookworm.  I have an obsessive interest in the 1960’s & am simply an all around colorful sort of guy.   On this blog I talk about friends, relatives & my life in general.  I also write extremely short fiction and poetry, among other things here.

    Dear Larry,

The web-o-matic gods have told me you have clicked ‘follow’ on my blog. Thanks for this, though I feel I must apologize for the lack of content of late. Still, there are treasures in past entries and the good news is that I only post when I’ve something to say.

I’m looking forward to exploring your blog and wish you well in your writing and in your life.

    Aloha,

    Doug

Thanks you so very much for taking an interest in my blog. I hope that you will find my stories interesting for some light and casual reading, but intriguing enough in their complexity to want to visit often. Anytime you visit, I love feedback. I am still a writer very rough-around-the-edges. Any feedback I can get, I cherish! Thanks again for your visit.

I’m a misfit of the 1960’s, Live in the same state about an hour or so from York (and mostly sane) partnered, childrened, grandchildrend. Also lived in several NY boroughs. As well as a couple of other states.

Also 2nd one side 3rd on the other; red and white sauces if you get my drift.
Unfortunately the language wasn’t shared. Full of humor, poetry and flash fiction.
My flash fiction is at another place… Let me know if you’d like directions there.

Off to investigate… to maybe figure out how you found me…

I was born on Long Island…Far Rockaway. We moved when I was two years old (to Texas), but people say I have a “New York edge” to my personality… Nice to meet you 🙂

Except for being a Yankee… you sound like a great guy and very much like me. I may have something to talk with you about at some point in the near future… or not. 🙂 Yeah, I’m like that, contradictory and vague. Thanks for dropping in and writing. I hope you keep it up.
