Enduring the Enchanted Snowfall

As far as I am concerned, I have always dreaded snow, and I always shall. I can very easily understand that from a nice convenient distance, such as seeing it only on television or a movie, or reminiscing about it in July, it is easy to be so favorably impressed. This does not, however, make up for the fact that snow, especially when in cahoots with ice~black ice’s being its very worst form~is never a good thing.

For children and teenagers an Enchanted Snowfall is always a good thing. I can also understand how people who enjoy winter sports like skiing and ice skating will always find it so impressive. From the point of view of someone like me, however, it is merely an unwelcome burden, to be endured in as patient and resigned a manner as possible.
