Angels In the Gospels And Rosary

In the first Joyful Mystery of the Rosary, the Annunciation, it looks back to the days when Adam and Eve lost the Garden of Eden. Immaculate Mary is greeted by the Archangel Gabriel. She conceives Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit. She is the Woman in the protoevangelium in Genesis.

In the first Sorrowful Mystery of the Rosary, the Agony In the Garden , Eden is replace by Gethsemane. Mary and the Holy Spirit are absent. Jesus has an angel to comfort Him. Sin now has the upper hand without Mary and the Holy Spirit.

In the First Glorious Mystery of the Rosary, the Resurrection, angels appear and announce that He is risen. Jesus appears to St. Mary Magdalene and she assumes He is the Gardener. The tree is in the center of the garden. In the Third Glorious Mystery, Pentecost, the Holy Spirit descends upon Mary and the Apostles. The Fourth Glorious Mystery is Mary’s Assumption, and the Fifth is Her Coronation.
