The Heart

I miss your fair Heart

I miss the days when it

Was neither covered by a veil

Nor alluded to only by familar

Songs, smells, and articles of clothing

Daily I pass the graveyard where

It is now merely one of so very many

I love the tragedy of heartbreak, of the eternity of its pain, of how it seems that everything in the world seems set to remind you of it in every waking moment. Delightful, tragic, wholesome.
