‘Who’s that?’ Jane asked Bill.

‘Oh that’s my conscience,’ Bill replied. ‘We have a deal.’

‘I allow him unfettered access to all my years of Catholic education, clean cut grooming, social skills, and any other sources he may need. In return he keeps me on the path of the straight and narrow.’

‘Hey I’ve been meaning to try that with mine too,’ she said.

‘Once each evening he gives me an examination,’ he said. I account to him for all my thoughts, words, and deeds.

‘It’s such an interesting idea,’ she said. ‘I so hope it catches on.’
