The legendary World War I flying ace boarded his Sopwith Camel knowing only too perfectly well that his upcoming flight over the Western Front may very easily turn out to be his last. Gazing forward toward his instrument panel, he couldn’t avoid noticing a switch that stated clearly : ‘To be Depressed only in case of absolute emergency.’ ‘As far as I understand,’ thought he, ‘The need to destroy the Kaiser is an absolute emergency.’
