We do we Lionize victims?
Nothing so reeks of poison
As victim status.
A victim..of racism, or any
Perceived imagined injustice,
Is convenientely above the law
By way of a romanticized notion
Of pseudo justice?
Should I be locked up
In a cage and straight jacket
For fear of offending the victims?
Must time and space collapse
Irrevocably in case of risk
To their fragile sense
Of importance?
