Beware the Rabbit

Of course when I saw the mighty rabbit

I desperately had to follow it,

In answer to a sudden and

Inexplicable urge.

That always happens when

I see that rabbit.

This time it led me into

A small room.

Of course there’s always

Quite a major risk that

When someone follows a

Rabbit, it will often lead him

To a room that is

Much too small,

Besides which, whenever

I’m in there, I’m always

crippled by the lack of

Any way to take control

Over me own circumstances.

There’s never an instruction

Manual to explain how things

Are supposed to be done.

Often when one finds his way

Into such a room,

There is no exit.

your poem reminds me of the Netflix sci-fi show Alice in Borderland where game participants are forced into a room/arena to solve a puzzle before a given time, otherwise they will be killed in the game.
this is a great response to the prompt. 🙂
