I can Linger in front of me mirror
For hours at a time, wondering
If me tie is on straight,
Whether me shoes are polished,
And whether me jacket,
Pants, and shirt are
So perfectly creased.
The mirror always lies
To me though.
The camera is always
So defiantly blunt and honest.
Soon I shall be required to
Answer to the camera.
