I am a Cowboy garbed in white
Under a sky of Robin’s Egg blue
Me Raw Silk garb stands out at night
Where the grass here is Spinach green too
Me stallion and six gun are forever true
I stand vigil defending everything good
I know it’s the right thing to do.
I want this rule always to be understood.
Now listen to me as I say this to you
As men, women, and children all should
We shall all stay alert in case trouble’s a~brew
I want this rule always to be understood.
I’m so glad you wrote about a cowboy. I was hoping someone would. It seems a perfect subject for a ballade.

I could have even written about the Rocky Mountains too, since I’ve been there and cowboys fit in quite well
