Man must not worship
The Goddess of Reason,
Who is a mere servant,
Never a mistress.
The Doorway to hopelessness
Stands ever conveniently ajar,
A wrongly formed conscience
Can Keep a man
From the ability to Reflect
Upon the most important
Things in Life.
Savor the apple
And the pink rose
And the Message
Held in each.
Even a mere Thread
Of deceit or folly
May Prove ultimately
To be a fatal Catalyst,
A Bludgeon upon
One’s ultimate happiness
And to Keep him
From his ultimate goal.
