The East Elmhurst A Go Go

I see the Frenchman’s selling his boat,” Ailbe told Caoimhe on their way to the East Elmhurst A Go Go.

“Yes,” Caoimhe said. “It’s the end of an era.”

“Do you think anything interesting will happen tonight?” Ailbe asked.

“Of course,” she answered. “All we have to do is dress up and meet our party. There’ll be live music, dancing, and drinks.”

“I can’t handle crowds well,” he reminded her.

“There’s lots of space,” she said. “Relax.”

All went well. The Frenchman didn’t get to go, though. He was too busy trying to sell his boat.

How the hell do you pronounce those names?
Maybe he doesn’t like parties and won’t feel he’s missing much. Or maybe he’s selling his boat because there are too many parties!

Lately I’ve been on a traditional old fashined Irish names kick for me characters. Who knows? Maybe he’s even selling it because he’s so sick and tired of their taking advantage of him by always asking him if they may party on his boat.
