Trains And Four Horsemen

Just wear the mask and get the vaccination,” Julia told Winston.  “That’s all they want.”

“Don’t you remember the war?” he reminded her.   “Hitler wanted Jews to wear stars and tattoos.  In Brother James’ theology class,” he continued, “He explained how the Beast will want people to wear his mark, 666.

I wouldn’t piss on those characters if they were on fire,” he said. “They do all they can to control us, all in the name of Equality.  It’s their goddess.  They can’t win the election fairly so they’ll steal it by germ warfare, with trains and four horsemen.”

Welcome back to ROCHELLE’S weekly Friday Fictioneers, which starts on Wednesday.  She’s also, this week, supplied the hep photo prompt. The Frog is quite plain this week. Click it anyway.

Yes I have heard how badly New York has been affected. I am so sorry. It must be scary. Have you had friends or relatives die of it? Do you know many people with it?

My oldest friend’s husband got a mild case of it . A priest who was once at my old parish got a mild case of it. A priest I never met, who was pastor of the church I went to when I was a kid, died from it. It’s been doing a lot of damage unfortunately.

You know, the thought of germ warfare in regards to this has crossed my mind. When better to launch it when we’ve got such horrible leadership at an national level. Governors have never been more important than right now.

You know that part in Star Wars when Princess Leia says, “Help us, Obi Wan Kenobi, you’re our only hope!” (paraphrase or maybe verbatim, not sure)? Bernie Sanders was our only hope. Larry I don’t think we need someone like Trump, but any of the other contenders are placeholders if that. Biden is a joke.

I bitterly despise both common sense and tolerance because each claims to know, better than someone else, what’s good for him. That’s what’s happening now. They’re taking complete control based upon their being in a supposed completely superior position. Shalom

This probably reflects some very real thoughts of some people about … and when you combine it with those who care little for tens of thousands dead and think that it doesn’t matter as long as those are not “of their party” then you aren’t all that far from the ugly truths of some of it … oy.

Not all people would be thus provoked (we also see the opposite often enough, in humanity and altruism and empathy and giving and kindness and bravery) … However, yes to the sad fact that there are always those people (not the majority of persons, IMO, but all too often in positions of power they’d gotten to BY using apathy and greed and power and money) who put power and money above others, and who are apathetic to suffering.
