Pressure

The artist sees a massive block of stone

With an infinite number of statues imprisoned in it

Of which only one is destined to come to fruition.

His hammer and chisel are the sperm, his marble the egg.

Perhaps the marble is a uterus

And the hammer and chisel, labor pains.
