Uncle Who?

Herbert’s and Myrtle’s reception was at the local country club.  There was one guest no one could account for. No one recognized him as anyone’s friend or relative.

“Someone told me he’s Uncle Clem, Aunt Ida’s husband from Scranton,” Cousin Velma said.  The only catch was that nobody’d ever heard of either of them.  All night long he danced, and related anecdotes no one remembered.

Since the wedding neither he nor Aunt Ida has been seen or heard from.  Somewhere in northeastern Pennsylvania they’re talking about a couple they’ve never met.  At least everything worked out really well.

Welcome to ROCHELLE’S weekly swinging soiree Friday Fictioneers, which always starts upon a Wednesday.  This week, C.E. has supplied the hep photo prompt.
