Avant Garde

Pink Froggie

Jane had a lot of offbeat friends, who were suckers for all kinds of cults and apocryphal literature.   Just  give them anything New Age, from sitar music to macrobiotic restaurants, and they were so happy.

One night as she was walking home from her favorite restaurant, she really started thinking of how consumed they were with it all.  She couldn’t help dwelling on one of their supposed revelations: ‘..and in the end there will be rings in the sky before all is destroyed.’  Fortunately, after a few minutes she remembered she was in the neighborhood of the experimental theatre.

Welcome back to our weekly~every Wednesday~Friday Fictioneers with ROCHELLE , who has also supplied this week’s photo prompt.
