Happy Halloween

“Everybody else is jumping on the Halloween bandwagon early,” Melchizedek told Jezebel.

“I’m watching ‘Dark Shadows’, and movies starring Basil Rathbone, Vincent Price, and Boris Karloff,” she admitted.

“Don’t you think you miss out on all the enjoyment if you start too early?” he asked.

“I’ve been terrified of banshees since I was little,” she said

“If I practice early, I can be ready for when they finally begin to howl.”

“That’s all I wanted to know,” he said.

Denise, of Girlie On the Edge, has another SIX SENTENCE STORY THURSDAY #70

The only thing I’ve ever done to prepare for Halloween is to stock up on candy way too early even knowing that few if any would be coming to trick or treat. LOL
(BTW that horrible habit is one I finally conquered.)
Practice and preparation definitely help one to overcome fears. I guess we each pick our battles.

The stores have to order early in order to even get the inventory they want, and they have to put it out when it arrives because they don’t have storage areas. We can buy it, that doesn’t mean we have to display it or put it out for ourselves.

And a hint if you have to buy candy for Trick or Treat, start now while it’s there to buy one bag every time you shop and you won’t have to make a special trip or even feel the pinch in your budget.
