Peter and Henry made their regular trip to their favorite food cart. Henry, having gotten tired of Peter’s late hours and constant overeating, told his friend, yet again, to slow down.
“O.K.,” so I have my share of minor vices,” Peter admitted. “Things could be quite a lot worse.”
“No,” Henry insisted “It’s gotten very bad lately. You’re the Oscar Madison of our world.” “O.K., Felix,” Peter said. “You tell me. What should I do?”
I fear the statue will have a long wait.

It’s pretty bad when even statues can’t bear to look 🙂

Dear Larry,
It sounds like a mighty tall order. It never worked for Felix and Oscar.

There is not much hope for the Oscars of this world.
I really enjoyed this, Larry

You can’t change a person. True change originates on the inside. Wishing them luck.

May be Henry was aware of the difficulty that is why he set an impossible time frame of the statue taking its hands off its eyes.

Henry might as well give up as the old saying goes about “leading a horse to water”. A good story and dialogue, Larry. 🙂 — Suzanne

Oscar may not have self-restraint in his eating, but he’s polite.
