The Other Fourth Of July Milestones

“Did you know,”Romulus asked Remus , “That Stephen Foster was born on July 4, 1826?”

“Why no,” his friend replied.

“Besides that,” the former continued, “John Adams and Thomas Jefferson died that day too.”

“I honestly think we should make ‘Suwannee River’ our national anthem.”

You know,” Remus admitted, “It’s quite amazing how you can Process all that stuff in only one head.  I honestly think you must need another one to fit it all.”

Welcome back to Denise’s SIX SENTENCE STORY THURSDAY

,the current version of which happens to transpire upon Independence Day.  Wave, therefore, your Betsy Ross flag upon high, throw your Nike’s into a roaring fire, pig out on some Chic~Fil~A , and party on.

You got to wonder how it is we keep so much “minutia” up inside our heads, lol
Interesting facts about JA and TJ. Of course, now that I know this bit of trivia, it’ll be stored up among all the other “bits” ‘cuz there might be a day, I’ll might have need to use it 😀

I’ve always wondered how it is possible that there are people who are able to not only store all those things they have read and heard, but be able to recall the information in an instant. What a gift!
Thanks for a little reminder of some historical facts as we celebrate the 4th of July!
