I truly fell for Cindy
Though we were never together
At the same tree.
Then one fine day
I tricked her
By blowing a bubble
And conveniently
Maneuvering her into it.
I had blueberry pie tea
Prepared for her
And scones with raspberry jam.
I showed her the fire
That had fallen from my heart,
Which only her love could assuage.
Of course, once she sees
That my heart and soul are hers
And hers alone
She will so happily be my sweet girl.
