Kennedy Plaza Farmer’s Market

If your larder is emptied

Come follow me please.

Please start out with

Morsels of wonderful cheese.

The wafting aroma of Gouda and Brie

Perhaps Reggiano or Mascarpone~whee!

The band’s in the background

To regale us with song.

The fragrance of cinnamon

Wafts through the throng.

I hope you want melons

In your Belgian ale.

The Butterscotch sisters

Have scones now for sale.

Sujecki’s can give you

Radicchio, dill,

Parsnips and tomatoes.

Have you had your fill?

On Wednesdays and Saturdays

Hear ye Hear ye.

There’s a magical market

You may chance to see.

Welcome back to dVerse POETS PUB TO MARKET, TO MARKET!

Oops, I’m afraid I don’t. I haven’t been much of a reader of poetry until I started writing it here on WP, which hasn’t been long. I have a lot of catching up to do.

Hi Larry! Very wonderful work! Honest expression shared openly. I am having an existential crisis tonight. I invite you to come visit me, cross my bridge of dreams, and listen to Joni sing like an angel!

funny. I thought marscapone was a soft cheese. but If you say so…whatever BTW it is bad manners to twit someone who isn’t aware of a certain poet or poets. But manners are not your strong point
