I’ve read collections of poems from the past
To pass the time and to memorize a few.
The anthologies I have by now amassed
Might fill the space in a library or two.
The clock strikes six. The Angelus bells at last
Are tolling now, as evening begins anew.
We may soon begin our weekly mealtime fast
Until tomorrow the grass is wet with dew.
ah, tomorrow’s grass! love this poem.

Thanks Lisa. I’ve been trying to write in a wide variety of poems lately. It’s kind of hard to figure them out

Well, now you’ve gone and done it … thrown down the gauntlet. I must try this poetry form I had not known of, yours is beautifully composed! Cheers.

Never heard of this form but I like it by the example you’ve given. I think I just might try it, too.
