Ae Freislighe

I see in my memory

And I can see so clearly

Things that were not meant to be

And I miss them so dearly.

Perhaps there’s some other way

That I can still get by now.

If I can get underway

And I won’t have to die now.

Today’s the first time I’ve ever heard of an Ae Freislighe poem. It’s Irish. My ethnic background is Irish so I wanted to make sure I gave it a chance for THE SUNDAY MUSE #53.  Here’s where you can find out all about it:  AE FREISLIGHE .

You are a marvelous source of new forms to try. There’s a rumor that I might be Irish.

Not sure what the dying is about. Surely regrets are not fatal? They better not be; there would be nobody left.

Well if you find their work interesting it is good manners to let them have a comment. This is part of the rules of participating in a group project like this.
