I Have To Go To The Soup Kitchen

Risultati immagini per workplace

I take a glimpse at a fire hydrant.

Say hello to a perfect stranger.

Smile and nod at a pretty girl.

I hope I remember my keys, phone, and wallet.

Now I’m halfway to the soup kitchen.

The cracks in the sidewalk are so annoying.

Policemen and firemen fly on past me.

There’s quite a big crowd here at St. Mary’s.

Maybe I should stop and buy a sandwich.

I’ve finally arrived at the soup kitchen.

Here’s my post for TERESA’S List Poem prompt.
