The rabbit is coming to warn us all

Of what awaits us anon.

As I live my life o so casually.

The rabbit is coming to warn us all

It pays to take great heed.

I know, at last, my day will come.

Although I have many literature credits on my transcripts, to my undying chagrin, I somehow didn’t end up studying a lot of poetry. Here’s a style I first heard of today: TRIOLET .

The triolet was one the first forms I did… and this was a good one… wonder what the rabbit has to tell (but I’m afraid no one will listen to a furry harbinger like that)

  Thanks. I saw the Rabbit as a kind of a variation of the Grim Reaper/Angel Of Death, or at the very least someone with an unavoidably necessary message, one which portends a moment of such totally primo urgency
