A Pedestrian

I don’t have a car anymore as of last June.

Everytime I have to travel, if it’s somewhat far away, I take Lyft.

Often a Place on my itinerary will be close enough to walk.

Either way I always seem to get there.

Sometimes cold or precipitation is a big problem.

It can never be too warm or sunny though.

I was glad to read this. I am moving to Alaska next month and will be without a car for the first time in many years. It’s a conscious choice, and I am going to try to make it a way of life.. Excellent six, by the way!

Welcome to the Six Sentence Story.
Liked your Six. The words on ‘the page’ not only conveyed a glimpse of reality, it was like a staircase, way easy to continue down deeper into your story.

And I was worried mine might break down and there is another vehicle in the family, but I reserve the use of it to once a week and more if necessary, so I am not completely carless. It’s easier, though, to not use it as much and it’s made me more productive, so there’s that.
