Ralph and Sam were talking at the local park.

Hurry up,” Ralph said.  “It’s practically 11:11. You know what that pretty girl at the Coffee Nut Cafe said.  We have to make a wish.”

“My needs are so very  few,” Sam replied. “All I ask of life are the ability to open a pack of sinus pills easily, and to get my left leg into a pair of pants without falling down.  Who could want for anything more?”

The former merely gazed at his friend in amazement. “Oh yeah, that’s you, all righty,” he admitted.  “You’re quite the regular Mr. Adventure.”

    1. I’m so very sorry about the language barrier. I’m trying to learn as much Italian as possible. and read somewhere that if someone reads and listens to a foreign language as often as possible, including translations of things he sees every day, it can help increase his fluency. I agree with you about Sam. Thanks for the comment.

      1. Don’t apologise – it’s a nice quirk, just confused me a little. I was pleased with how much I managed to understand with my basic French and Spanish. Buona fortuna con l’italiano (I totally google translated that!!!!)

  1. This made me laugh. I nearly lost my balance this morning when I was putting on my jeans. If I hadn’t been able to lean against my bed, I”d probably be in the hospital right now waiting for surgery on my broken hip! So I completely understand Sam 🙂
