Based in Oakland, California, Saint Albert Priory serves as a Roman Catholic Order that follows the teachings of St. Dominic de Guzman. Responsible for missions and philanthropic works throughout the world, Saint Albert Priory also supports the Shrine of St. Jude Thaddeus.

Located in San Francisco, the Shrine of St. Jude Thaddeus honors St. Jude. One of the 12 disciples of Jesus Christ, St. Jude spent more than a decade traveling throughout Mesopotamia and converting people to Christianity. During the first century AD, he was martyred by being clubbed to death; he was buried in Saint Paul’s Basilica. Today, St. Jude is considered the Patron of Lost Causes.
